Tactical superiority and comfort: The 4 cm wide neoprene-padded nylon dog collar with Cobra buckles from AustriAlpin with magnetic handle.

Description: Simple all-black collar with magnetic handle and Velcro 10x3.8cm for attaching patches.

The clasp: A key feature is the use of AustriAlpin's Cobra buckles in 38 mm Large, black buckles known for their exceptional reliability and safety. The buckles withstand loads of up to 1800 kg (breaking strength of the Cobra buckle: 1800 kg) and allow for quick and secure fastening and removal of the collar, which is particularly advantageous in tactical or urgent situations.

Magnetic handle: Another outstanding feature is the integrated handle with magnetic attachment. This handle provides immediate control over your dog and is particularly useful during encounters with other dogs or in situations where the dog needs to be restrained quickly and securely. The handle is slightly smaller than on our other models and attaches tightly and securely to the collar, preventing the dog from getting tangled during use.

Good padding: The soft neoprene padding is wider than the collar and protects your dog's neck from friction and pressure points. Ideal for long-lasting activities.

Strong D-ring: The collar is also equipped with a particularly robust D-ring, which offers high resilience and thus increases safety and control with every use.

Personalization: The collar is equipped with a 10x3.8cm Velcro patch. The dog's name, phone number, or a phrase such as "Don't Touch," "Keep Your Distance," "Service Dog," etc., can be attached here as desired.

We have the collar together with the Cobra 3Point harness On Duty The collar fits perfectly and the 7cm width protects his neck. We usually put it on in addition to the chest harness. If our little gladiator is in a bad mood, you can hold him nicely by the magnetic handle.

I guess I misjudged myself and that harness is a little too big, which is not a problem since my furry friend is still growing and I assume that he will fill it out.

Overall, the harness Really great, very robust and stable, the buckles are easy to use and in khaki the color goes really well with my furry friend's fur.
The harness It may seem a little heavy at first but the feeling quickly improves and once you get used to it, it shouldn't be a problem anymore.
I have the feeling that mine really does pull less and that makes me very happy.
I am very happy that I found this online shop.

Super practical

The collar is very nice and feels very sturdy.
The holding loop is great for holding our Rottweiler puppy (already 26kg) very briefly if the situation requires it. When not in use, the handle rests securely on the collar. The magnet could be a bit stronger for my taste, so that the handle goes back to the collar on its own without having to be nudged to make it fit again. But this is complaining at a high level.

If customer feedback includes suggestions for improving our products, these will of course be reviewed and implemented where possible: In this case, we are pleased to announce that stronger magnets will be used in the production of the next series in order to meet your request for the handle to automatically attach to the collar. Thank you for the suggestion and the positive review!

Simple, well-made collar

The collar is very functional and we use it every day. The only "blemish": the black painted metal parts at the clasp and leashring look very nice, but the coloring is not impact-resistant. We already have individual metallic areas without color, e.g. the ring for hanging the leash. Too bad.

We would like to thank you for your valuable feedback and would of course also like to respond to your comment: Charlotte's Choice purchases the components used, such as Cobra buckles or Frog carabiners, in the respective (color) versions directly from the manufacturer. The manufacturer of the legendary Cobra buckles, which are used worldwide, the Austrian company AustriAlpin, works with the highest standards of painting, in this case the so-called KTL process is used:
KTL stands for 'cathodic dip painting', where an electrically negatively charged workpiece (in this case the buckle or its individual parts) is dipped into a paint bath with positively charged particles. The part to be coated attracts these particles, which then form an even layer over the entire surface. The entire process consists of cleaning (of the Cobra buckles), activation, dip painting and finally curing at 180 - 200 degrees.
The advantages of a KTL painting are
-good adhesion
-relatively good abrasion resistance
corrosion protection
-good coverage
-evenly thin layer thickness
-Suitability for almost all metals

Unfortunately, despite this high-quality process, it is not possible to completely prevent the paint from chipping off with daily use, especially at the corners, which we of course very much regret. AustriAlpin also offers anodized or HPC-coated buckles, which AustriAlpin recommends in terms of the durability of the paint, but are also more expensive to buy, which in turn would increase the selling price of the collar etc.
