The collar is very well made but the rubber bands wear out too quickly
Hello Melissa, you don't need the elastic bands. Once the collar is fully adjusted, you can cut off the excess band behind the slider (it has to go through the slider!) and burn the end with a lighter. Then it won't be too long and you won't need to fix it with the elastic band.

The collar is very well made. The recommendation to check it out beforehand is a good one. It is really very bulky. The only thing that makes it a bit awkward for my fat fingers is the oversized cobra buckle and the small opening nubs on it, which means it takes some getting used to.
With the 7 cm Titan Cobra magnetic handle collar you have chosen a very solid model, which can withstand the greatest stress in extreme situations thanks to the Cobra safety buckle with integrated D-ring and the extra-robust sewing technique, but still guarantees maximum comfort for the dog thanks to its width and the integrated neoprene padding. Handling the legendary Cobra safety buckle from the Austrian specialist AustriAlpin can certainly take a little getting used to at first, but the patented locking mechanism makes it impossible for it to be opened accidentally and has proven itself over many years in use by the military, fire brigade, police and rescue services, making the Cobra the strongest and world-leading safety buckle. We hope that with a little practice and getting used to it, you will soon find it easier to open and thank you for the purchase and the photo!
The collar fits my bullmastiff puppy perfectly and can be adjusted to fit even longer. The workmanship is good and the buckles are good too, nothing slips through. I'd buy again any time!

My dogs are delighted - they love their new bed! However, I had to remove the protection because my delicate 70kg Great Dane was afraid of the noise🙈🤭 But the fact that the cover can be washed doesn't diminish my enthusiasm for the dog bed!
Our company dogs Charlotte and Ringo are also intensive users of the K9 Maxi bed and in fact the bed/cover can be a little noisier in the first few days of use than you (or the dog) might expect. However, this settles down within a few days and then disappears completely. Thank you very much for buying the giant dog bed and sweet dreams to the dogs!
